I recently discovered a little Jamaican
restaurant in Darby, PA (just outside the Philly/West Chester
areas). So far, I've tried their curried goat, oxtail, jerk pork,
jerk chicken (all with rice and peas, cabbage, and plantains),
and beef patties. The patty was average. The jerk pork and jerk
chicken were both decent but nothing to do cart wheels over.
The curried goat and oxtail were both outstanding and plenty
enough to do cart wheels over!!!!! ... truly excellent flavor,
extremely well prepared, large portions, and very cheap. The
cabbage and plaintains were also very awesome. You definitely
get a good bellyfull of really great good if you order the oxtail
or curried goat. This is a great little restaurant: |
