Please accept this shameless plug for a restaurant
called the Negril Caribbean Grille. While this restaurant is
literally right up the road from me, I had never been before
a friend took me there this past week. I highly recommend it!
I had never had oxtail before -- OMG, YUM! I believe their other
specialties are curry chicken, brown stew chicken, jerk chicken,
curry goat, and fried plaintains. They also serve things like
lamb chops, shrimp scampi, steak, sweet potato fries etc. After
my delicious meal, I chatted with the woman who owns the restaurant
(she also cooked the food). She seemed like such a real, honest
to goodness type person. For some reason I am feeling moved to
do what little I can to spread the word about this little gem
of a restaurant. |
